Underhand

A distinct type of Claw Finger Technique which is physically distinguishable by striking in an upward direction - making contact with the tip(s) of the fingers of the hand, palm pointing relatively forward and fingers pointing downward.

Comments:

This maneuver is most typically effected on relatively vertically, typically at groin height, but may be altered depending upon need.

Ideally, this maneuver is enacted with all five (5) fingers, but this is not a requirement.

The word underhand, in this case, relates to the orientation of the hand being finger down. But can also refer to the deceptiveness of this maneuver when executed to the groin from a Point of Origin hanging naturally at the side.
