Upward

A distinct type of Claw Finger Technique which is physically distinguishable by striking in an upward direction - making contact with the tip(s) of the fingers of the hand, palm pointing relatively upward and fingers pointing forward.

Comments:

This maneuver is most typically effected relatively vertically, typically at abdomen height, but may be altered depending upon need.

Ideally, this maneuver is enacted with all five (5) fingers, but this is not a requirement.

Most typically, this maneuver would be executed to a bent over opponent's face.

The word upward, in this case, means to follow a path of travel that is relatively upward, with the palm also pointing upward.
