Overhead

A distinct type of Claw Finger Technique which is physically distinguishable by striking in a downward direction - making contact with the tip(s) of the fingers of the hand, palm pointing relatively forward and fingers pointing upward.

Comments:

This maneuver is most typically effected relatively vertically, typically at face height, but may be altered depending upon need.

Ideally, this maneuver is enacted with all five (5) fingers, but this is not a requirement.

The word overhead, in this case, means to follow a path of travel that is relatively parallel to the vertical (width) center-line, which gives the appearance to being executed from over the head.
