Turn (Body Maneuver)

A specific form of a Body Maneuver which is physically distinguishable by creating a vertically oriented Pivot Point along the body using circular motion - at or below 180 degrees in rotation.

Comments:

Turns are most often used as an evasion, but can also be used to cushion, trap, catch, etc. - often with the support of the arms (or legs).

Turns are similar to slips in that they often are used to evade offensive maneuvers. The distinction of a roll is that it must evade through circular motion; where a true slip can also create evasion through linear motion (and must be in a forward direction).

Turns are similar to rides in that they often create riding motion. The distinction of a roll is that it creates said riding motion through circular motion; where a true ride can also create it through linear motion.

Turns are distinguishable from rolls in that rolls use a rotation of greater than 180 degrees.
