Weaving is often used with bobbing - this is due to the fact the weapons often travel on circular paths, which can require not only horizontal motion, but vertical motion as well; to effectively create an Angle of Deviation.
Weaving is most often used as a defense.
Weaving should be executed through the use of the legs, while keeping the body erect - not by bending.
Weaving can also be used as a form of cocking with the entire body.
Weaving is most often employed by boxers.
Weaving is the opposite of bobbing, in that weaving is employed using the dimension of width and bobbing the dimension of height. |
