Plunger Theory

An analogy comparing different types of internal responses to a resulting enacted motion (Fuse / Plunger / Electronic Detonator) where, in this scenario, the internal response is somewhat delayed.

Comments:

This analogy contrasts both the internal response and the resulting motion to varying ways to create an explosion - Fuse (slowest), Plunger (quicker), Electronic Detonator (quickest).

In the scenario of the Plunger, the internal reaction and corresponding action (e.g. the explosion) is somewhat delayed, giving the overall feeling of not being immediate. Although once detonated the resulting explosion will give the feeling of being energetic.

Plunger is often used in the context of average or needing improvement, but it can also be used as a Strategic Ploy.
