An analogy comparing different types of internal responses to a resulting enacted motion (Fuse / Plunger / Electronic Detonator) where, in this scenario, the internal response is considerably delayed. |

This analogy contrasts both the internal response and the resulting motion to varying ways to create an explosion - Fuse (slowest), Plunger (quicker), Electronic Detonator (quickest).
In the scenario of the Fuse, the internal reaction and corresponding action (e.g. the explosion) is greatly delay, giving the overall feeling of possibly never arriving. Although once detonated the resulting explosion will give the feeling of being energetic.
Fuse is often used in a negative context, but can also be used as a Strategic Ploy to take the opponent(s) off guard.
