Extended Outward (Block)

A specific type of Striking block which is physically distinguishable by the outward direction (in relation to the practitioner) of its movement and its physical orientation (vertical) at the conclusion of its execution and the rotation of the arm (inner wrist facing away from practitioner).

Comments:

This block is typically used as the active alternative to its cousin the vertical outward block.

This block's standard final positioning is on the outer edge of the Outer Rim - with the inside of the arm toughing the outer edge of the rim.

The word outward, in this case, is equivalent to outside.

Derivation.:

This block gets its name from the fact that it is an extended version of its cousin the vertical outward block.
