A specific type of Striking elbow block which is physically distinguishable by the backward direction (in relation to the practitioner) of its movement in order to effect the block. |

The easiest way to visualize this block (using the either arm from a training horse stance) is that it is a thrusting of the arm directly backward, starting from a standard chambered position.
This block does not have a forearm counterpart.
