Articulation of Motion

An idiom describing the combining of individual maneuvers into a Base Move such that each individual maneuver still remains pronounced and distinguishable, irrespective of the execution speed.

Comments:

Articulation of Motion is essentially the proper way any Base Move should be executed - with each maneuver being distinct, clear, and precise.

Articulation of Motion is a positive attribute and a skill that should be developed.

Articulation of Motion differs from By-the-Numbers (and Phonetics of Motion) in that Articulation of Motion is a skill to be developed and honed and By-the-Numbers is a teaching tool.

Example(s):

If a practitioner were to execute a Base Move such that each individual maneuver in the sequence were recognizable - they would be employing Articulation of Motion.
