Outward Horizontal

A distinct type of Slicing Finger Technique which is physically distinguishable by striking on an outward linear direction - making contact with the tip(s) of the fingers of the hand, palm pointing relatively downward.

Comments:

This maneuver is most typically effected on a relatively horizontal line typically at eye height, but may be altered depending upon need.

Ideally, this maneuver is enacted with one (1) finger (the middle finger) making contact, backed by the index finger.

This maneuver starts from the opposite side of the vertical (width) center-line of the striking hand and travels outward toward the same side of the vertical (width) center-line.

The word outward, in this case, means to follow a path of travel that is relatively perpendicular to the vertical (width) center-line, toward the same side the body.
