Defensive Persuasion


An idiom referring to the forcing of an opponent to defend a particular region to create an opening in another region that can be exploited.

 

Comments:

 

This is a common tactic in sparring, but is not limited to that situation.

 

This tactic is similar to but very distinct from feints, Conditioned Response, and Quarter Beat Timing.
