Dead Mass Motion is most commonly enacted through a hand-shake, but this is not a requirement.
One major important element of this method (if executed from a hand-shake) is the direction of the pull. It should always (if possible) be on a downward diagonal and to the right.direction (i.e. lower right rear flank). Executing it in this manner allows for checking off multiple Dimensional Zones simultaneously, where pulling to different angles does not.
Generally speaking, this term refers to the aid the opponent's stationary mass provides to help your stationary mass transition into mass in motion. |
