Straight Thrust Finger Technique

A distinct type of Thrusting Finger Technique which is physically distinguishable by striking in a linear, forward direction - making contact with the tip(s) of the fingers of the hand, palm pointing downward.

Comments:

This strike is most typically effected on a relatively horizontal line, but may be executed on a slight upward or downward slope, depending upon need.

Ideally, this maneuver is enacted with all four (4) fingers, but this is not a requirement.

As stated above, this strike has a Snapping equivalent which is not specifically called out.

From one perspective, this is just a straight thrust punch to a slightly further range (because of the open hand).

The word straight, in this case, means to follow a line of travel that is relatively parallel to the vertical (width) center-line (and relatively perpendicular to the vertical (depth) center-line), toward the front.
