Stomps are most often enacted in a downward vertical direction, but are not limited to this.
Stomps are most often enacted through a hammering Method of Execution, but are not limited to this.
Stomping is typically employed using the bottom or edge of the foot, but are not entirely limited to those points.
Stomps are most closely associated with kicks, but differ in that a stomp has total weight transfer into the strike and must use the ground as its backing.
Technically speaking, although stomps must use the ground, there is a argument that one could just as easily use other Environmental Objects, such as a wall, as its backing.
