1a) | Replant (toward 10:30H) your left foot back to its original position as you shift (counter-clockwise H) into a horse stance (facing 10:30H - but with attention to 7:30H) while simultaneously dropping (toward 6:00V) both hands to your sides, palms backward (toward 7:30H) and fingers downward (toward 6:00V), in preparation for the next move. |
1b) | Lift your left leg upward (toward 12:00V), bottom of foot parallel to the floor (toward 6:00V) – toes pointing forward (toward 10:30H), in preparation for the next move. |
Option: | During the above maneuver, either both hands remain in the same relative position or the left hand may execute a thumb press to left hip height, palm facing backward (toward 7:30H). |
1c) | Immediately, deliver a left heel stomp (toward 6:00V) directly downward, toes pointing to your left (toward 7:30H). |
Option: | One does not have to demonstrate the rotation of the left foot to be perpendicular with the potential opponent's left foot. Instead the toes of the left foot may continue to point forward (toward 10:30H) throughout the execution of the entire maneuver, including the stomp. |
Note: | Even though the above maneuver shifts all weight from the right foot and then back to the left foot, the upper body should not lean to the right, left or forward during the execution of the maneuver. |
2) | Taking advantage of the previous maneuvers momentum, execute a right, rear, obscure elbow strike (toward 12:00V), palm facing backward (toward 7:30H), to chin height, simultaneously with the execution of a right, rear, scoop kick (toward 12:00V) (toward 7:30H) to groin height. |
3) | Without any loss of momentum, execute a 360-degree body rotation (counter-clockwise H) by planting your right foot to your left (toward 10:30H), and then planting your left foot to your left (toward 10:30H). Complete the body rotation into a horse (facing 1:30H) with the retraction of your left arm to a left chambered position, palm up (toward 12:00V), while simultaneously executing a right, thrusting, upward, diagonal (toward 1:30V), inner elbow strike (toward 1:30H) to rib height. |
Option: | To visually demonstrate that the left hand represents a grab to the potential opponent's left wrist, the left hand may be retracted to chambered position, palm down (toward 6:00V) - either fully closed or partially closed (simulating a grabbing position). |
Note: | The rotation of the body and the settle into the stance should be used to enhance the execution of the inner elbow strike. |
