A variation on the standard attention stance which is physically distinguishable by having the legs slightly wider than shoulder width and arms behind the body, touching at the hands just above waist height. |

This stance is considered to be non-ready in relation to combat and self-defense.
This stance is primarily used as a longer term variation to the standard attention stance, when an instructor or dignitary wishes to speak, but still requires some degree of formality. |
