Push-Down

a)proper alignments:
i)height = elbow slightly after execution of block (not "locked out")
ii)width = blocking arm extended to center-line
iii)depth = blocking arm extended to depth to front knee after execution
iv)palm facing downward (toward ground)

 

b)improper execution:
i)not obeying the rule of Margin for Error:
1)hand not rotated properly
iii)improper angles of execution
1)not executed parallel to body (vertically)

 

c)improper body positioning:
i)not keeping back straight (leaning)
iii)improper hand rotation:
1)hand not bent properly (fingers pointing downward)
2)hand not rotated properly (fingers pointing forward / backward)

Form Specific

a)improper body positioning:
ii)not rotated to forward bow (over / under rotation)

Comments

a)Common execution errors:
i)over rotation into a twist stance during the execution of this block, combining the block with the next maneuver of the form (rotating into the twist stance)
