Inside Vertical Forearm (Strike)

A distinct type of forearm strike which is physically distinguishable by striking in an inward direction (hand oriented upward).

Comments:

For all intents and purposes, this strike is only distinguishable from the standard inward block by intent.

This strike most commonly effected on a line, but could also travel on a circle, depending upon need.

The most common Methods of Execution for this strike are:

Hammer (linear)

Thrust (linear)

Snap (linear / circular)

Roundhouse (circular)

Hook (circular)

There are inverted versions of this strike (hand oriented downward), but they are not called out as a individual basics in this section - even though they implemented in the self-defense techniques.

The word inside, in this case, is equivalent to inward in both direction and contact point of the forearm.
