A specific type of Striking block which is physically distinguishable by the inward and downward direction (in relation to the practitioner) of its movement in order to effect the block.

Comments:

The Inside Downward block travels in the reverse direction of the standard (outside) downward block.

This downward block travels from the same side to the opposite side of the body (inside) - as the blocking arm.

The word Inside, in this case, is equivalent to inward.
