This is the Thrusting version of this specific kick.
This kick differs from its snapping counterpart because the kicking foot can return to its Point of Origin, not forcing the practitioner to step-through forward.
This kick differs from its snapping counterpart in that the kick forces the practitioner to step-through forward because the weight of the body passes the Point of No Return. In other words, this kick (if executed properly and effectively) transfers the majority of one's weight forward to backup and enhance the kick. |
