Sparring specific slang for a competitor who, during freestyle competition, fights using a quick flood of moves, but then suddenly stops and waits for a response or retreats.

Comments:

This method of sparring can be seen during  tournament competition as well as normal sparring situations.

This is a derogatory term.

Derivation:

The term is taken from the method of sparring with quick spurts of moves (flurries).
