Diversified Angle of Cover

An idiom used to describe a Cover Out or Double Cover Out that is employed on multiple angles.

Comments:

Rather than covering out on a straight line, it is sometimes advantageous to diversify the travel to varying angles. This can add unpredictability to the maneuver. This can also be used to reorient to a new focal point.

This term is closely associated with the more general terms Directional Change and Open the Gap.

Diversified Angle of Cover differs from Diversified Angle of Departure in that it is very specific and only refers to a Cover Out or Double Cover Out maneuver.
