Degree of Intent

A paradigm that classifies the spectrum of potential amounts of defensive and/or offensive intent of any move.

Comments:

This paradigm is essentially and analysis of intent as is pertains to any move.  Its purpose is to classify the spectrum of intent that any specific move can potentially contain.

In general, moves are typically considered defensive or offensive.  But, moves that are typically considered offensive can be executed with a defensive intention, and visa versa.

The intent of any specific move can only be determined by the person executing the move.  Therefore, this paradigm is a First Point of View analysis.

This category of potential intention of a move breaks down as follows:

a.Defensive Defense (defensive)

b.Offensive Defense

c.Defensive Offense

d.Offensive Offense (offensive)
