Bind is a generic term which refers more to the effect of a maneuver, rather than any specific maneuver itself.
Binding is similar to Checking in that it anticipates motion. But unlike Checking, binding must cause immobilization of one's opponent(s) for a period of time.
The practitioner can bind (an) opponent(s) by a variety of singular maneuvers or by combining maneuvers.
Typically, binding effects more than one part of an opponent's body, simultaneously.
