Yank

A distinct type of Applied maneuver which is physically distinguishable by being an extreme form of a pull - effected by using an abrupt, sharp, or explosive movement.

Comments:

Yanks are just an exaggerated pull.

Yanks are often used interchangeably with pull, but technically, subtly different.

Yanks differ from pulls usually around intent. Where a yank may have an intent to cause injury, pulls typically do not.
