Stomp (Kicks)

A distinct type of kicking strike which is physically distinguishable by striking with a backstop.

Comments:

Like other kicks, this kick transfers weight into the strike, but is distinct from its stomp cousin by retaining a supporting leg throughout its execution.

The most typical backstop for this kick is the ground, but that is not a requirement.

Although not specifically illustrated in this section, this classification of kick can employ practically any of the single maneuver, elementary kicks listed.
