1a) | Step back (toward 7:30H) with your right foot into a left, transitory, forward bow (facing 1:30H) with the raise of your left stiff-arm fist (toward 12:00V) (counter-clockwise V), palm away from you (toward 1:30H), to shoulder height in front of your body (toward 1:30H), in preparation for the next move, while simultaneously retracting (toward 7:30H) your right arm to a right chambered position. |
Option: | You may retract your right hand to a right positional cover position, palm facing forward (toward 1:30H) and fingers pointing upward (toward 12:00V), to solar plexus height. |
1b) | Immediately, shift (clockwise H) and settle (toward 6:00V) into a left neutral bow (facing 1:30H) with a left, inverted, vertical, straight (linear), back-knuckle strike (toward 7:30H) to shoulder height. |
Note: | The backward momentum and settle should executed as to enhance the force of the back-knuckle strike. |
2a) | Settle (toward 6:00V) further into the left neutral bow (facing 1:30H) as you drop (toward 6:00V) your left elbow downward to left, upper hip height with the pull away from you of your left fist (toward 1:30H), palm facing you (toward 7:30H), while simultaneously lifting (toward 12:00V) your right half-fist to your right pectoral region (positioned cock), palm up (toward 12:00V), in preparation for the next move. |
Note: | The above maneuver simulates the peel of the potential opponent’s head away from your right shoulder and should be executed such that your left elbow is used as the major pivot point, ending with your left fist extended in front of you (toward 1:30H) at an approximate 45-degree angle (toward 1:30V). |
Option: | To further visually represent the peeling off of the potential opponent, your left hand can open and close in a grabbing motion to simulate a hair grab to the top of the potential opponent’s head, palm down (toward 6:00V). |
2b) | Shift forward (toward 1:30H) (counter-clockwise H) into a left, transitory, forward bow (facing 1:30H) with a right, snapping, downward, diagonal half-knuckle strike (toward 1:30H) (toward 4:30V), palm down (toward 6:00V) to your left inner wrist area. |
2c) | Immediately, shift back (toward 7:30H) (clockwise H) into a left neutral bow (facing 1:30H) with the retraction of your right striking hand (toward 7:30H) to its previous position. |
