Overhead Whip Finger Technique

A distinct type of Whipping Finger Technique which is physically distinguishable by striking in a forward circular direction - making contact with the tip(s) of the fingers of the hand, palm pointing relatively upward, which then upon contact rotates to palm pointing downward throughout its retraction.

Comments:

This maneuver is most typically effected on a relatively vertical circle typically at eye height, but may be altered depending upon need.

Ideally, this maneuver is enacted with all four (4) fingers, but this is not a requirement.

This maneuver is a sophisticated maneuver which has a built-in slice, which is enacted during the transition from contact to retraction.

The word overhead, in this case, means to follow a path of travel that is relatively parallel to the vertical (width) center-line, which gives the appearance to being executed from over the head.
