1a) | This side of the technique starts from the last position of the isolation, without any transitions. This description is given a number (instead of a note) so that the numbering sequence of both the right and left side of the technique match. |
1b) | Settle (toward 6:00V) into the horse (facing 12:00H), while simultaneously delivering double downward-diagonal elbow strikes (toward 4:30V) (toward 6:00H) to your lower abdomen height, fists upward (toward 10:30V). |
Note: | The timing of the above maneuvers should be such that the upper body maneuvers (elbows) conclude at the same time at the lower body maneuvers (foot maneuver + settle). |
Note: | Although the horse stance faces 12:00H, your attention should be focused toward 6:00H and remain there for the remainder of the technique. |
2a) | Draw your left foot toward your right foot (toward 1:30H) into a left, transitory 45-degree cat (facing 12:00H) as you simultaneously draw your right arm (toward 6:00H) to a right modified chambered position, fist up (toward 12:00V), with your left arm (toward 3:00H) parallel across your body, palm backward (toward 3:00V) on top the right fist, in preparation for the next move. |
2b) | Without any loss of motion from the previous moves, circle (clockwise H) your left to (toward 6:00H) and then diagonally away from your right leg (toward 7:30H), toes forward (toward 1:30H) - ending in a right reverse bow (facing 7:30H). |
Note: | The above foot maneuver should create a “V” (or "7") pattern into a reverse bow on the 7:30H-1:30H line. |
2c) | Immediately, shift to your left (counter clockwise H) into a fighting horse (facing 7:30H) with a left upward (toward 10:30V) (toward 6:00H) thrusting, diagonal, outward elbow strike to chin height, fist down (toward 7:30V) as you simultaneously raise your right arm (toward 12:00V) to your right shoulder, fist forward (toward 10:30H), in preparation for the next move. |
3) | Without any loss of momentum from your previous maneuver, settle (toward 6:00V) into the left forward bow (facing 9:00H) with a right, downward-diagonal (toward 7:30V) (toward 6:00H), hammering hammer-fist strike, fist up (toward 10:30V) to groin or bladder height as you draw your left arm to a left chambered position, palm up (toward 12:00V). |
Note: | The final position of your right lower arm (below the elbow) should parallel the angle of your left thigh. |
Note: | The next maneuver is technically not part of the technique, rather a transitional maneuver prior to the next technique. |
4) | Rotate (clockwise H) into a horse (facing 10:30H), while simultaneously retracting (toward 4:30H) your right arm to chambered positions, palms up (toward 12:00V). |
