The transition between the upward and downward block sequence is as follows:
1) | step your right foot to your left into a right modified reverse bow, while maintaining the position of you arms |
2) | immediately, rotate into a left neutral bow with a right, double factor, inside downward, block, palm up |
3) | without any loss of motion, settle into a left neutral bow with a left, hammering, downward block, while simultaneously retracting your right arm to a right chambered position |
The obvious information derived from this maneuver is:
•it is a major departure from the previous cat transitions
•it introduces a new stance - the reverse bow
Analyzing this information further exposes the following information:
•the maneuver moves it's point of reference to a new angle ('x')
