The design of the lower four (4) American Kenpo forms (aka the 'dictionary' forms) is to start with the information presented in Short Form One and build upon it with each progressive form. One of the best ways to illustrate how this is accomplished is to step through the form and explain the information exposed from each maneuver - exposing how it compounds the information from the previous forms. Through this approach the reader will be presented with both the obvious information and the not so obvious and/or often overlooked information. This not so obvious information is 'hidden' in plain sight, and it consists of information that is demonstrated during the execution of the form, but not necessarily explained. Or if explained, not explained thoroughly or often explained in a purposely vague manner.
