The inward, overhead elbow sequence is as follows:
1) | Step through reverse into a right neutral bow with a right, hammering, inward overhead elbow, while simultaneously retracting the left arm to a left chambered position |
2) | Repeat the sequence on the opposite side (toward 1:30H) |
3) | Repeat the sequence on the opposite side (toward 1:30H) |
An analysis of this sequence exposes the following information:
•it uses one-in-one timing
•it demonstrates retreating on the minor angle ('x')
•it travels on the opposite (perpendicular, overlapping) angle of the Inside, Downward Palm up Sequence
•it reverses the direction traveled by the Push-down Sequence
An analysis of this maneuver exposes the following information:
•it does not have direct line-of-sight to intended targets
•the maneuver switches rear weapons to front weapons after foot maneuver execution
•the maneuver begins execution as a circular line of travel and completes on a linear line of travel
•the linear line of travel shows the opposite (downward) direction to the upper-cut in the Half-knuckle Sequence (upward)
•settling into stance during the execution emphasizes the power principle gravitational marriage
•part of the executing arm travels outside the Outer Rim
