a) not obeying the rule of Margin for Error:
i) done like chicken wings, no torque, just arm lifting
b) proper alignments:
i) ending with angle of deflection (from overhead attack)
ii) blocking arm extended to top of head
iii) blocking arm extended to opposite shoulder
iv) fist positioned (palm facing directly forward) forward at 45 degrees away from you
c) double factors:
i) crossing past center line
