Forced Context Switching


An Idiom referring to a specific form of distraction brought about by forcing the opponent(s) mind(s) to be preoccupied for a period of time.

 

Comments:

 

Force Context Switching is a Strategic Ploy specifically designed as a form of mental Feinting, taking advantage of the scientific fact that the human mind takes a period of time to internally switch from one focused attention thought to another. This period of time is then exploited.

 

Force Context Switching is purely a mental Feint, there is no real physical aspects to it; but is does have a similar result as a physical Feint.

 

Example(s):

 

Asking the opponent what time it is, what color is a stop sign in (name your country), what is their middle name, etc. would demonstrate forcing a context switch.
