First off, this question is meant to be figurative in nature, and not taken literally. One may think of it as a way of elevating the status the form such that others understand its importance in the system.

 

Another way of answering this question is that the form covers important thematic information (major in-flight attacks / aka - live attacks), a major physical theme of intersecting circular motions (aka - figure 8 pattern), along with an uncommonly dense and sophisticated level of information represented within the form. This is also reinforced with the fact that it was originally designed to be the last form in the system, its length, and general physical complexity and overall beauty of the motions.

 

It is a common refrain within the system that if one can explain a sufficient degree of information present within this form to another person, that they deserve a black belt in the system.
