What are the themes of Form Four?

The complexity of Form Four can be exposed in one way by the number of themes that can be extracted from the information present within the form. From one perspective, the themes of Form Four cover a large percentage of the system. One reason for this is because Form Four is intended to continue, and in many instances complete, a large number of categories of information started in the lower forms of the system.

The major themes of Form Four include:

a study of in-flight major and minor attacks

the figure eight (8) pattern - a.k.a. overlapping circular motion (both single and double handed)
