A manner or acting, feeling, or thinking that shows one's State of Mind, emotion, disposition, or mood.

Attitude in a potentially combative situation is extremely important and can mean the difference between getting into the combative situation or eluding it. Attitude during a combative situation can mean the difference between success and failure. Attitude after a combative situation can mean the difference between more combat or a continued end to combat.

 

Prior to combat, attitude can show:

A positive attitude can lead one to victory when all hope seems lost - where a negative attitude can lead one to defeat, when victory is at hand.

 

Attitude is one of the important factors that distinguishes an average practitioner from an extraordinary practitioner.
