Shuffles (Foot Maneuvers)

A category of Foot Maneuver which is physically distinguishable by having the feet contour the ground during execution; and not changing sides of the stance (i.e. left, right) upon completion of the maneuver.

Comments:

This Foot Maneuver can be executed toward any directional angle (i.e. forward, backward, flank).

In a training environment, the most common directions of execution are forward and backward - with off angles being less common.

Shuffles are commonly used in combination with kicks. For example, the kick may be used to enact the shuffle (i.e. pull-drag). The opposite is also true, sometimes a kick is used to complete the final maneuver of the shuffle (i.e. drag-step).

Using this concept of combining basics as a base, one can easily describe these maneuvers as a combination of the two (2) basics. For example, a drag-kick, a pull-kick, or a launching kick.
