Thrusting Wedge (left side)

1)Step your left foot to your right and forward (toward 4:30H) into a transitory, left forward bow (facing 4:30H) with double, thrusting, straight, four-finger pokes (toward 4:30H), palms down (toward 6:00V), to the eye height, while keeping the elbows bent slightly at the elbows (left lower arm on the 12:00H – 6:00H line) (right lower arm on the 3:00H – 9:00H line).
Note:The pivot point for achieving the proper arm angles for the wedging maneuver should be at the fingertips.
Note:The previous upper body maneuver should be executed on a linear path.
2)Without any loss of motion from the previous moves, rotate (clockwise H) and settle (toward 6:00V) into a transitory, left neutral bow (facing 4:30H) with the rotation of both hands (left counter clockwise V) (right clockwise V) converting the four-finger pokes into double, raking, outward five-finger claws (left toward 3:00H) (right toward 9:00H), fingers inward (left toward 9:00V) (right toward 3:00V), to face level.
Note:The previous upper body maneuvers should be executed on dual, but reverse, linear paths.
3)Without any loss of motion from the previous moves, continue to rotate (clockwise H) and settle (toward 6:00V) into a left fighting horse (facing 4:30H) while converting the motion of both clawing hands into opposite outward circular paths (left counter clockwise V) (right clockwise V), relatively perpendicular to your body (left toward 3:00H) (right toward 9:00H). As the right arm continues downward (toward 6:00V), have it convert into a right positional cover at your left solar plexus level, palm forward (toward 4:30H). As the left arm reaches the bottom of its circular path (at 6:00V), switch (orbital switch) the downward circular path of the left arm into an upward circular path (toward 4:30H / 12:00V), delivering a left upward (toward 4:30H / 12:00V) elbow to chin height.
4)Rotate (counter clockwise H) and settle (toward 6:00V) into a left neutral bow (facing 4:30H) with a left downward heel-palm claw (toward 6:00V) to the face level, palm forward (toward 4:30H) and fingers upward (toward 12:00V).
Note:Throughout the above maneuver your right hand should maintain its same relative spacial position.
Note:The previous upper body maneuvers should be executed on (reverse) circular paths.
Note:The next maneuver is not considered part of the technique, rather a transition (adjustment) step prior the next series of maneuvers.
5)Step your left foot backward (toward 10:30H), reversing the path taken at the beginning of the technique, into a horse stance (facing 12:00H), with the retraction of both your hands (generally toward 6:00H) to chambered positions, palms up (toward 12:00V).
Note:The timing of this maneuver should be that both your foot and hand maneuvers conclude at the same time.
Note:You should conclude this technique in the exact same location and position from which you started the technique.
