Isolation #1 (right side)

Note:This Isolation starts from the last position of the previous technique, without any transitions.
Note:The entire isolation is executed with the left arm in a chambered position at your left hip.
Note:The next series of hand maneuvers (#1a-c) form a fluid, continuous horizontal figure 8 pattern.
1a)Rotate (counter clockwise V) and diagonally drop (toward 7:30V) your right open hand, palm up (toward 1:30V), to your lower abdomen (height) and left hip (width) area.
Note:This maneuver uses your right elbow as the primary pivot point (right shoulder as the secondary pivot point).
Note:This maneuver simulates breaking out of a direct (left to right) wrist grab.
1b)Rotate (clockwise V) and diagonally drop (toward 4:30V) your right open hand, palm up (toward 10:30V), to your lower abdomen (height) and right hip (width) area.
Note:This maneuver uses your right elbow as the primary pivot point (right shoulder as the secondary pivot point).
Note:This maneuver simulates breaking out of a cross (right to right) wrist grab.
1c)Rotate (counter clockwise V) and diagonally drop (toward 7:30V) your right open hand, palm down (toward 6:00V), back to its original position at the start of these maneuvers, only palm open.
Note:This maneuver uses your right elbow as the primary pivot point (right shoulder as the secondary pivot point).
Note:This maneuver simulates breaking out of a direct (left to right) wrist grab.
Note:The next series of hand maneuvers (#2 - #5) form a circle (#2 & #5) with a line cutting it in half horizontally (#3 & #4).
2)Without any loss of momentum, adjust the downward momentum of your right, open hand, palm down (toward 6:00V), to directly downward (toward 6:00V) and arching backward (toward 4:30H / 4:30V) inline with the center of your body (centerline) (width), concluding just in front of your solar plexus area (height).
Note:This maneuver uses your right shoulder as the primary pivot point (right elbow as the secondary pivot point).
Note:This maneuver simulates a frictional pull of the potential opponent's arm (from a broken grab).
3)Immediately deliver a right, thrusting straight punch to solar plexus height (toward 10:30H), palm down (toward 6:00V).
4)Rotate (clockwise V) and directly pull (toward 4:30H) your fist, palm forward (toward 10:30H / 9:00V), directly in front of your solar plexus area.
Note:This maneuver uses your right elbow as the primary pivot point (right shoulder as the secondary pivot point).
Note:This maneuver simulates breaking out of a direct (left to right) wrist grab.
5)Rotate (counter clockwise V) your right fist with an upward (toward 12:00V), outward (toward 10:30H) arch, delivering a right, thrusting, downward, diagonal back-knuckle (toward 10:30H / 4:30V), palm up (toward 10:30V), in-line with the center of your body (center-line) (width), concluding at chin height (height).
Note:This maneuver uses your right elbow as the primary pivot point (right shoulder as the secondary pivot point).
Option:This maneuver may be executed like a standard back-knuckle with palm to your left (toward 7:30H / 9:00V) to temple or jaw height.
Note:The next maneuver is not considered part of the isolation, rather a transition (adjustment) step prior the next series of maneuvers.
6)Without any loss of momentum, retract your right fist to a right chambered position, palm up (toward 12:00V), with the retraction of your right foot backward (toward 6:00H) into a horse stance (facing 12:00H).
Note:The timing of this maneuver should be that both your foot and hand conclude at the same time.
