The information available in the KenpoPedia is continually a work-in-progress. It is compiled over many years of working with SGM Parker, his many students, and experience within the American Kenpo system. It is not perfect and it is not complete, but it is the most comprehensive and detailed information compiled about American Kenpo available in the world today. It is literally thousands of hours of work that continue to this very day.
Information is categorized and broken down in such a way as to not overwhelm the reader with too much information at any given time. The American Kenpo system is by far the most comprehensive analysis of the martial arts ever undertaken by man. Presenting that information can be a daunting and intimidating task. This site attempts to present the information in a logical and brows-able manner; allowing the user to quickly access the intended information as efficiently as possible. But, still allow for quick and easy exploration of the information.

The purpose of the dictionary section is to define and give an overview of words that are used throughout the American Kenpo system.
Also included in this section are the idioms of American Kenpo. An idiom is an accepted word or term that means something other than the usual meaning within the language.

The argot section is an addendum to the dictionary section, but gives definitions of words and/or terms that are considered argots in the American Kenpo system.
An argot is a secret word or term used by American Kenpo practitioners that the layman would not immediately understand, even though they may know the layman's definition of the word or term. The main purpose of the use of argots in American Kenpo is for naming the self-defense techniques of the system.
