Flail

A weapon which has a stiff section (such as a stick or equivalent) on one end, a bendable section (such as a rope or chain), and another stick or ball (can be armored, spiked, reinforced, etc.) attached to the other end of the bendable section - which is designed to be swung at an opponent.
