Twirling Hammers (right side)

1a)

Left step to your right (toward right-flank) into a left, modified, front twist facing forward (toward front) with a left, thrusting, modified, extended-outward block (toward front), as you simultaneously allow your right hand to drop (toward down) and close at your right side, palm pointing backward (toward rear) and knuckles pointing downward (toward down), in preparation for the next maneuver (1b).

Clarification:

Both the twist stance and extended-outward block of the previous maneuver (1a) are called modified because although the alignments and orientation of the stance are shifted (clockwise horizontally) 90-degrees to the right (toward right-flank), the attention and execution of the upper body maneuvers are oriented toward the opening of the form (toward front).

Visualization:

At the end of the previous maneuver (1a), direct line of sight for the right hand to the attention point (toward front) should not be lost.

Visualization:

The following maneuvers of the right hand (1b-3) should create an overlapping, but offset vertically spiraling figure 8, perpendicular to and in front of (toward front) the body and parallel to the ground, with the left arm (2) cutting the middle of the figure 8 linearly.

1b)

Right step-through (225-degrees) forward (toward front) into a right neutral bow facing forward (toward front) with the execution of a right, looping-overhead punch (toward front) to head height, palm pointing forward (toward front) and knuckles pointing to the left (toward left-flank), as you simultaneously retract (toward rear) your left hand to a positional cover position at chest height, palm pointing forward (toward front) and fingers pointing upward (toward up).

2)

Shift (clockwise horizontally) into a right forward bow facing forward (toward front) with the execution of a left, thrusting, inward, elbow (toward front) to solar plexus height, palm pointing downward (toward down) and knuckles pointing to the right (toward right-flank) as you allow your right hand to continue (toward rear) to circle (counter-clockwise horizontally) over your head (toward up), in preparation for the next maneuver.

Elaboration:

The timing of the previous maneuver (2) should be such that the rotation of the stance begins at the focal point of the right hand strike (1b), creating a slightly offset opposing forces effect (push-pull) of the elbow (2) and punch (1a) when combined together.

3)

Shift (counter-clockwise horizontally) into a modified, offset, fighting horse facing forward (toward left-front-flank) with the delivery of a right, hammering, inward, hammer-fist (toward left-front-flank) to rib height, palm pointing diagonally-upward (toward upper-right-rear-flank) and knuckles pointing forward and diagonally-upward (toward upper-left-front-flank), while simultaneously retracting (toward left-rear-flank) your left open hand in front of your body, palm pointing diagonally-upward (toward upper-right-rear-flank) and fingers pointing forward and diagonally-upward (toward upper-left-front-flank).

Visualization:

The conclusion of the previous maneuver (3) should have both arms extending perpendicular forward (toward left-front-flank) and diagonally-upward (toward upper-left-front-flank) from the body on their respective side of the (vertical) center-line (left toward rear / right toward front), with elbows directly in front of (toward left-flank) their respective ribs; right hand closed and left hand open.

Clarification:

The fighting horse stance of the previous maneuver (3) is called modified (and offset) because the feet are offset with a toe-heel alignment and not directly in-line with one another.
