Situation: |
You are standing naturally, or in a left neutral bow, with the opponent (to your front) executing a right step-through overhead knife attack. |
1) |
Step your left foot (toward left front) into a left neutral bow to get off the line of attack, moving completely out of your ghost image. As you move, execute a right outward parry to the outside of the opponent's right arm, at the wrist, meeting his arm before guiding it. |
2) |
While the overhead attack is still in motion, pivot to your right into a horse stance, your left hand assisting your right in guiding and controlling the path of the weapon. Without losing momentum, pivot clockwise into a left neutral bow, jamming the knife into the opponent's right thigh. |
3) |
Immediately pivot into a left forward bow. As you pivot, deliver a right inward horizontal elbow strike to the opponent's sternum, shuffling forward if necessary, your left hand pinning his right hand to keep the knife in his thigh. |
Result: |
The pain from the knife wound should take effect. |
4) |
With your left hand still pressing the knife against the thigh, convert it into a palm-up tiger's mouth. Track your left arm up the opponent's right arm, pressing against it, on its way to choking his Adam's apple. Your right hand switches places, palm down, continuing to press and check the knife into his thigh. |
Result: |
The opponent should gasp for breath. |
5) |
Immediately switch both hands so your left forearm presses the opponent's right arm as your left hand grabs and squeezes his testicles. Simultaneously circle your right hand counter-clockwise into a crab-hand pinch, palm facing the opponent, hooking and pinching his eyes. |
Result: |
The opponent should feel nauseous from the squeeze and be temporarily blinded by the crab-hand pinch. |
6) |
Step your right foot forward into a cat stance (facing forward), to the outside of the opponent's right leg, adjusting your left foot as needed. As you step forward, contour your left hand up his right arm, executing a left inner wrist strike to his throat, your right hand switching places to continue pressing the knife into his thigh. |
7) |
Without loss of momentum, step your right foot forward, dropping into a right close kneel, kneeling on the ground. As you step forward, switch your left inner wrist into a left hooking wrist, shaped like a crane, your left forearm using the opponent's right shoulder as a fulcrum, coordinated with your body momentum to force him over your right knee. |
Result: |
The opponent's back should sprain or break. |
8) |
Deliver a right downward diagonal hammer-fist to the opponent's heart, your left hand simultaneously checking, pinning, and controlling his body against your right leg and body. |
Result: |
The opponent should be totally stunned. |
9) |
Deliver a left thrusting heel-palm strike to the right side of the opponent's jaw, fingers pointed up, injuring him and forcing him off your right knee. Dislodge the knife from his thigh with your right hand, converting your left heel-palm strike into a positional check at your solar plexus. |
Result: |
The opponent should roll off your knee and onto his stomach. |
10) |
While still on your left knee, execute a right front crossover, gradually ascending before covering out twice (toward left rear). |
