a)proper alignments:
i)height = fist at eye-brow level
ii)width = blocking arm extended to same shoulder
iii)depth = elbow bent to vertical plane
iv)palm facing direct toward you

 

b)improper positioning:
i)not obeying the rule of Margin for Error (also improper alignments):
1)not anchoring the elbow
2)not keeping the vertical outward block vertical – i.e. over reaching
