Situation:

You are in a natural stance (facing front) with both of your arms at your side (toward down) while the opponent (to your front) facing you (toward rear) applies a direct two-hand grab and pull (toward front) to your lapels.

Explanation:

The following maneuvers (1a-c) should be executed as a single series of moves, but are illustrated independently to better call out the complexities in both timing and delivery.

1a)

Raise and circle your left arm (clockwise vertically) on top of both the opponent's arms, ending with a left grab to the top of the opponent's left wrist, palm pointing downward (toward down), trapping both the opponent's hands to your upper body with your left hand and forearm (pinning check).

Enunciation:

The grab of the previous maneuver (1a) is maintained until the conclusion of the entire technique sequence and will therefore will not be further illustrated until then.

1b)

Step forward with your right foot into a modified right neutral bow facing forward (toward front) (stabilize base)  Simultaneously with the previous moves, raise (cock) your right arm vertically (toward 12:00V) to your right shoulder, fist head high and palm forward (toward 12:00H), in preparation for the next move.

Clarification:

The stance of the previous maneuver (1b) is called modified because the depth of the stance varies from the ideal based upon the gauge needed for the following maneuver (1c) and the stance is not fully rotated (yet) in preparation for the following maneuver (1c).

Option:

The plant of your right foot of the previous maneuver (1b) may also be used to execute a front stomp (toward front) to the opponent's right instep (minor), depending upon availability.

1c)

Shift (counter-clockwise horizontally) into the modified right neutral bow facing forward (toward front) delivering a right hammering inward, downward diagonal raking back-knuckle (toward front) to the opponent's bridge of nose (major).

Elaboration:

The strike of the previous maneuver (1c) should be executed utilizing both your right elbow, right shoulder, and right hand as pivot points (circular rotation), to enhance the effectiveness of the strike.

Result:

The opponent's head should be thrust diagonally down, backward, and to your left (toward lower left front flank) while the opponent attempts to release their grab to cover their face, but your left hand and forearm prevent this from happening.

Explanation:

The following maneuvers (2a-b) should be executed as a single series of moves that flow naturally (continuity of motion) from the previous set of maneuvers (1a-c), but are illustrated independently to better call out the complexities in both timing and delivery.

2a)

Circle your right arm downward and to your right rear (clockwise vertically), deliver a right hammering horizontal downward forearm strike (toward lower right rear flank), palm pointing toward you (toward rear), to the top of the opponent's forearms (minor), as you continue to settle into your right neutral bow facing forward (toward front).

Elaboration:

The downward delivery of the forearm of the previous maneuver (2a) is purposely not executed directly downward (toward down) to prevent starting an orbit that will re-orbit back to hit you (e.g. a head butt from the opponent).

Result:

The opponent's entire body should be forced downward (toward down) until their head is about at your shoulder height, while the opponent’s head should begin to rebound back from the prior strike (1c).

2b)

Circle your right arm upward and to your left (counter-clockwise diagonally) to deliver a right thrusting inward elbow strike (major), palm pointing downward (toward down), to the opponent's left jaw area (toward left flank).

Result:

The opponent's head should be forced to your left (toward left flank) while the opponent continues to attempt to release the grab to cover their face, but your grab continues to prevent this from happening.

3a)

Cock your right elbow by straightening your elbow allowing your hand to travel past your left shoulder (toward rear), palm pointing toward you (toward right flank), in preparation for the next move (3b) (positioned cock).

3b)

Reverse the path of the previous maneuver (3a) to deliver right thrusting outward elbow (toward front), palm pointing downward (toward down), to the opponent's jaw area (major).

Option:

Step-drag forward (toward front) as needed to gauge proper distance and/or enhance the elbow strike of the previous maneuver (3a).

Result:

The opponent's head and upper body should be forced backward (toward front) and they should begin to collapse downward (toward down) onto their knees.

4)

Release the grab and pin to the opponent's arms with the retraction of both your left and right arms (as needed) to a covering position while continuing to maintain your other defenses (positioned cover).

Result:

The opponent should continue to and fully collapse onto the ground (body on a front to rear line), face up (toward up).
