General variations have the characteristic of spanning multiple sections of a form, up to and including the entire form. This type of variation, in contrast to a specific variation, tends to be slightly more non-destructive than destructive, but can often also be destructive. And like specific variations area of this guide, not every possible variation will be detailed; instead, only the most commonly occurring variations will be discussed.
