All basics have at least one height / depth / width zone in which they can be used effectively, but some basics can be used in many different zones and situations. For instance, the straight punch is most often used to the middle height zone and is not effective at the high height zone without modification. The vertical punch, on the other hand, can be used just as effectively at both the high and middle height zones. Long Form Two demonstrates this fact.
