Timing is the coordination of multiple movements such that they are synchronized as intended. This definition is demonstrated throughout the form by timing both foot maneuvers (lower body) with blocks (upper body) in such a way as to create harmonious and fluid maneuvers which complete their execution in-sync with one another. With experience and practice, one can easily see correctly timed maneuvers from incorrectly timed maneuvers.
With the addition of stance shifting while executing offensive maneuvers, timing becomes slightly more complicated than with Short Form One. Creating harmonious movements timed such that the intended Focus Point of the strike is reached in-sync with the completion of body rotation along with the weight shift is of critical importance. Directional Harmony, Body Harmony, Body Alignment, Focus, and timing are needed to create a proper Confluence of Forces.
